Technical committee for standardization "Solid Renewable Fuels and Biofuels" (TC 198)

Among the national standards encompassed by the standardization scope of Technical Committee TC-198 "Solid Renewable Fuels and Biofuels," by the end of 2023, the following were adopted by confirmation:

DSTU EN 16214-1:2022 Sustainable development criteria for the production of biofuels and bio-liquids for energy applications. Principles, criteria, indicators, and verification methods. Part 1. Terminological dictionary;

DSTU CEN/TS 16214-2:2017 Stability criteria for the production of biofuels and bio-liquids for energy use. Principles, criteria, indicators, and verifiers. Part 2. Conformity assessment, including responsibility chain during product transfer and mass balance (CEN/TS 16214-2:2014, IDT);

DSTU EN 16214-4:2022 Sustainable development criteria for the production of biofuels and bio-liquids for energy applications. Principles, criteria, indicators, and verification methods. Part 4. Methods for calculating greenhouse gas emissions balance using a life cycle analysis approach — Replacing DSTU EN 16214-4:2017 (EN 16214-4:2013, IDT).

It should be noted that DSTU EN 16214-1:2022 Sustainable development criteria for the production of biofuels and bio-liquids for energy applications. Principles, criteria, indicators, and verification methods. Part 1. Terminological dictionary requires translation into Ukrainian to facilitate its dissemination and practical application in the processes of green economic transformation.
