International oil and gas forum “Energy transition 2023”: path to energy transition

From October 12 to 14, 2023, the International Oil and Gas Forum “Energy Transition 2023" took place in the Carpathians, focusing on issues related to the energy transition.

The event was organized by the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas (IFNTUOG), with support from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. This year, the forum attracted a large number of participants, particularly those interested in the university’s scientific and technical developments.

The innovations and technologies presented at the forum hold significant importance not only for Ukraine but also for Europe as a whole, especially during times of conflict.

One of the forum’s key events was a roundtable discussion on “Energy Transition: Decarbonization, Geothermal Energy, Hydrogen Technologies,” moderated by Mykhailo Bratak, Director of UkrNDIGas.
Among the invited experts was Oleg Yaroshenko, head of DPK “MASMA.” The discussion brought together leading industry professionals who shared their expertise on energy transition and the sustainable development of energy technologies.
